Which orders use the standard fee?
The standard fee covers clear specifications and routine work with a limited number of products and suppliers. One order means an agreed product list, supplier scope and delivery plan. Splitting payments does not add another service fee.
Complex searches, long parts lists and custom projects receive an agreed rate or fixed fee. A fixed fee replaces the percentage charge for the same work. Extra work is quoted before approval; any later sourcing-fee credit must be agreed in writing.
How is product value calculated?
The agreed product cost includes standard packaging. Separately listed samples, tooling, development, shipping, insurance, taxes, payment charges and third-party fees are excluded. Bundled costs, currency and exchange charges are clarified in your quote.
At US$3,500, the fee is US$100. Above that, 3% applies to the full product value. There is no minimum product order value set by this service fee.
When do I pay?
The purchasing fee is normally paid before work starts. Complex projects may use payments at agreed stages. Product payments follow supplier terms.
Third-party services need your approval and follow the provider’s payment terms. Direct payment is possible where the provider accepts it.
What if I cancel or no supplier is found?
If you cancel, we calculate charges for completed work, work not yet started and non-refundable third-party costs according to the terms you agreed. A supplier refund does not automatically refund completed services.
Paid sourcing does not guarantee a supplier match or unlimited searches.
How do inspections and tests work?
Independent providers perform inspections or laboratory tests and issue their reports. JFScope coordinates the scope, timing and follow-up; we do not run a laboratory or certify products. Checks have agreed limits and do not guarantee every unit or all compliance requirements. You decide whether to accept the goods and approve shipment.
For purchasing orders, routine coordination is included in the agreed work. Inspection and testing providers charge separately. For an inspection or test booked on its own, you pay the provider’s fee plus an agreed fixed coordination fee. The 3% purchasing fee does not automatically apply. Extra rounds or providers may need a separate coordination quote, confirmed before booking.
